‘Rosemary’s Baby’ Remake Slated By Critics: ‘Dull, Clumsy Bore’
A remake of Rosemary’s Baby has been slated by critics following its airing on US TV last night (May 8).
Zoe Saldana fronts the two-part miniseries, which takes its cues from Roman Polanski’s adaptation of Ira Levin’s horror novel about a woman who gives birth to the son of Satan. Saldana plays the role made famous by Mia Farrow, with Jason Isaacs and Carole Bouquet supporting.
The reception from reviewers has been frosty, with USA Today branding it “inept” and “a bore”.
